The basic concept of the workshop is to hold a forum where Ph.d. students can hear about and discuss how environmental historical research can be incorporated with both physical and socio-economical aspects of environmental problems, and how we can best combine the natural, social and historical sciences to best manage these problems.
The program will be led by six professionals working within the fields of environmental history and interdisciplinary environmental management. These experts will provide key note seminars and lead group-based discussions on interdisciplinary management and communication.
